I am officially blaming Daylight Savings Time for this week. I have no other excuse for my extreme exhaustion. Well, maybe that I stayed up watching the Bachelor and ATFR until 1:30 on Tuesday didn't help, either. Whatever!
We are linking up with Jess at The Newly again for Confessions!
I confess...
...Facebook had to tell me it was St. Patrick's Day. And then I had to dig through my pile (see #4) to find a green shirt. Annoying. PS- Happy St. Patrick's Day. I have never really celebrated this holiday, minus the year that I was in Chicago for the event. And that was really fun! Facebook also reminded me of this day with this fun green river pic...
...Last night I folded my husband's laundry. But I piled the clothes around me on the couch so I didn't have to move while doing it. Yep, that lazy.
...I've had a brownie sundae every night this week. I really cannot say no to a warm brownie and ice cream.
...Another laundry situation: I have been pulling my clean clothes out of the dryer and throwing them on the guest room bed. For 2 weeks now. The pile is substantial. I cannot find my clothes anymore. I am currently searching for an assistant to help me clean this mess up this weekend. I cannot tackle the job mentally.
...I was SO happy with the Bachelor outcome. I teared up during the proposal. And I have no problem saying that this was my absolute favorite season of the Bachelor. EVER.
...and on a related note, I am SO SO SO happy that Caila isn't the Bachelorette. I'm happy it's JoJo, but more so just pleased that it's anyone but Caila.
...I seriously dread shaving my legs. EVERY TIME! Why is it so hard?!
...I have become the type of person who hits the snooze button no less than 3 times. When did this happen?! I swear I didn't used to be like this.
I'm out of here! Tonight I am hitting the red carpet (haha, not really) at Omaha Fashion Week! It should be a good time and you can guarantee I'll share with you all soon!
Have a happy St. Pat's!

The Current Post
I stumbled on this "currently I am…" challenge and thought I would give it a go. So, here it goes.
Reading…. Unbroken. There isn't much to say as I just started, but, so far so good! I wanted to read it in case I decide to see the movie.
Playing… what? I'm not playing anything. Sometimes I play trivia crack. I actually feel like the constant trivia is making me smarter. Maybe.
Watching… Parks & Rec. Need I say more? Greatest show. And the Bachelor, unfortunately. What a mess.
Trying… I was trying to come up with the greatest cinnamon roll recipe ever, but making 1-2 batches per week became tiring and I am breaking on that effort.
Cooking… nothing lately. I have really been slacking.
Eating… a lot of girl scout cookies. Too many. Embarrassing amounts. I wish the peanut butter patty and thin mint didn't exist. This season of life needs to end, stat.
Drinking… a lot of water.
And I am going to wrap this up by combining the loving, thinking, discovering, feeling, going, smelling, listening to with this fun new life event:
Baby Brick was born on Christmas day and he is the sweetest little bundle of love. Pretty much since he has been here he is topping the charts on all of those things and we are so happy to have him. And right now he is helping me write this blog.

I sure do love this sweet baby and it's probably time for us to cuddle up together. Goodnight everyone!

Confessional Friday
It has been a minute since I linked up with Leslie @ A Blonde Ambition for a confessional!

So, here we go!
1. I confess that last night I had a variety of desserts for supper. I don't want to get into it, but it went on for hours and there was ice cream with Cookie Butter. And frosting. And PB & J....
2. I am learning to make cinnamon rolls from scratch- and I think I finally got what I wanted with trial #3 last night. Woo! Thanks to my awesome aunt and her timeless recipes!
3. I confess that I still haven't watched the premier of The Bachelor. For someone who rarely misses a season, this is upsetting. It is happening... this weekend.
4. I have been trying to get caught up on New Girl on Netflix. In the last two nights, I watched 13 episodes. That's a little embarrassing.
5. I confess that I slept in until 10:00 AM on my "cold" day home from work. It was amazing. I guess there has to be one upside to this awful weather!
6. I confess that I LOVE that so many of my girlfriends are moms and/or becoming moms. Nothing makes me happier than seeing all of their sweet little baby faces.
Alright, feeling good! Let's get this weekend rolling.. I could use a day off... after only working for 3 days this week!
And side note: those of you who are receiving the Ipsy glam box...tell me more. Has it been worth it? I almost completed my profile, but didn't go through with it quite yet. I like to think these kind of commitments through. Help!
Happy Friday!
